Advania has been appointed as a new IT supplier for Coor Service Management, and will help Coor with services such as IT infrastructure, IT support, and IT workplace, in order to support Coor’s digital strategy. The agreement – which will run for five years – is Advania’s single largest business deal with a private organization.
– Coor’s stated IT strategy, to go from many IT suppliers to fewer partners, is the right approach for us. As a partner, we are now going to take full responsibility for infrastructure and platform services through a hybrid model, no matter if the services are produced in our data centers or in public cloud environments, says Mikael Noaksson, CEO at Advania.
Coor Service Management has during the past six months procured parts of their IT operations, and have been in contact with about 50 different IT suppliers. In the end Coor decided to sign with Advania, since they had the right approach for IT and cloud solutions, with special expert knowledge in Microsoft’s cloud services. Moreover, the cultural match between the companies was crucial.
– We choose Advania due to their profile and proposed solutions, which were a good match to our requirements profile. We are definitely satisfied with our choice. Coor felt that Advania’s corporate culture match our own since they have a working team with both excellent competence and sound values, says Michael Asplund, Head of Infrastructure Management at Coor Service Management.
Advania is going to strengthen Coor Service Management in their digitalization of services within areas such as facility management and restaurant, where cloud services and development of Internet of Things are two important tools to further increase scalability, flexibility of IT platforms and ultimately time-to-market and competitiveness for the business. The deal with Coor Service Management is Advania’s largest ever contract with a private organization.
– We are experiencing strong growth and Coor Service Management is one of many larger contracts we have signed recently. At the same time we are given the trust to continue our delivery to all of our existing customers. In order to continue the success, we need to keep exceeding expectations, and thus we are now strengthening our organization considerably, with new skilled colleagues working around the clock, says Mikael Noaksson, CEO at Advania.
The agreement between the two companies is for five years. Advania has initiated the transition process, which is expected to be completed in April.
